The XLINK solution
Mike, Kintaro, Toa, and I have been looking into to this option and I have reached the checkpoint of Success by successfully running Xlink Kai on Socom 2 with a group of other players over the LAN option. The chances of being able to play BF2 on the PS2 seem very likely now if we can test this out. So far, Only i have everything set up and i'm currently waiting on the others to set up their things.

Re: The XLINK solution
As of right now, me and starseeker have been able to view each others connections on Xlink. We can see each other and can detect that our PS2's are connected to our computers. There has to be an issue in between then.

Re: The XLINK solution
We'll be testing this out tonight to see if we can manage to bridge the gaps between worlds on Swbf2, Lol
Also, I'm Happy to say that this also Makes "LAN" games possible to play online.
And yes, that includes gamecube games as well

Re: The XLINK solution
maybe it's just because I don't understand what xlink is, but LAN stands for "local area network", not "across the country area network"
so if someone could pm me what exactly xlink is, that might be helpful

Re: The XLINK solution
You connect your PS2 via Ethernet to your computer and the Xlink will route people in your orb reigon.
