SWL Japanese Exploration Empty SWL Japanese Exploration

Post by Starseeker 11.03.14 11:10

We are well aware of the Euro clans and when the U.S clans found out about that, We really felt like the game just got some new flare to it and it was the coolest thing and soon after we were able to actually face off with them.

Now, It is time to locate Those beyond our reach and issue challenges to those distant and far swbf2 players in which we have had little contact with. However, please note that that region may be just as devastated as the Euro region and may result in us simply giving up on this mission.

Already i have viable information gathered from a select few Japanese Websites including a calculated Chart of the Darkies jet trajectory and a page including Tactics and impressive game art. I have also found a List of OLD U.S Clans that used to play this game in the past.

The last note i'd like to make is that the Japanese mention ROR and LDS in their Posts meaning that The European clans may have information that'd be useful to us. Anyways, I will continue to update as needed. thank you

the game would probably be unplayable unless you're from the west coast/playing on a west coast server

I believe PyroJockey modded his server (Official glitch PS2) to switch between the three regions in America, Europe and Japan every 5th minute some years ago. And if i'm not wrong, there were japanese players in that server. But then again; my memory could be flawed... Better ask Pyro about this. If anyone has played with japanese players it is him.

I also believe Michael (from EU) managed to mod his PS2 so he could join japanese servers, but again, this might be my imagination - maybe it was just an idea of him, i dunno.

My server is Capable of Switching to Europe and Japan and yes, there is a Mod that can also be added to our Paid for servers known as Pyro's mod.

The time difference would be the biggest issue in regards to clan battles, but i'm sure some of us can manage to make time in the summer for that.

You'll need to translate that stuff, but there's some pretty neat info in there on Both Jedi and Conquest. It's mostly basic stuff, But there is also some really neat ideas and concepts in there to be studied and looked at.

I'm also posting this link just as a testament to how into this game they were or perhaps still are. Just something to keep you guys interested in this idea because that site says a lot. Btw, it's both PC and PS2 ( I know this because of the Links they have )

Ive been looking myself and from what ive seen in the link you posted and the links on the site it seems (from what _I_ i have seen) they stopped being active around 2007 or 2008. And i had a hard to reading what was posted due to chrome's translating but the link you posted star didnt give away much as to their knowledge of the game. For jedi at least we started finding things in game and actually getting good about 2008 ish so idk. Another thing i noticed was when you google things along the lines of "swbf2 ps2 clans" you get links that pop up in the U.S, but when i translated those type of queries in google i get nothing.

*Update* 3/15/2014

I've recently come across a Japanese player and Swbf2 Group for the japanese region on Steam and will make contact with them soon. I'm Eager to see what they have to say and what clans they got going. I'll update this if anything new comes up.
