Come May 31st, the Swbf2 GameSpy master server will be shut down, meaning no dedicated/pc servers will be able to connect online. The game will finally die.

I will miss swbf2 if it really dies. Perhaps pc gaming will have more options to be played multiplayer dunno. But if we are not able to play it multiplayer anymore, we should play another game to represent swl or just a new team. I would suggest you to play Diablo 3 but Idk if you guys only like shooting games.

i only play tf2 like once a month for the hacked servers. and I heard Diablo 3 is good, so I might get it.

I'm going to look into what game to move to if this happens. Most likely SWL will go inactive if BF2 goes offline, but I'm definitely not going to give up on our team so we'll see if BF2 really goes offline, then we can move to another game until SWBF3 comes out.

tbh once swbf2 dies im peacing out until swbf3 comes around maybe i'll run into one of you guys in a pub

Me and Kintaro are looking into this and we'll come up with a Solution shortly. Hopefully.

Moving to a PC game would be the easiest but not practical for all members. However it would keep a good portion of members active and participating. Steam would be a great accommodation for this.

id be more than happy to remain in SWL for bf3. this is one of a few clans with tolerable member who actually know how to play the game lol. only problem is bf3 comes out in 2015 so if we can agree on a non-shitty game to move to (A.K.A. not tf2), id be more than happy to join

Yeah SWL will come back for SWBF3 if we ever agree to take a break if the game goes offline.

Diablo 3 is really an awesome game. I have my own clan there. SIN = Souls in nemesis.

I recommend that great game. I'm pretty sure you'd have new good experiences. In 1 day it sold what swbf2 sold in a year   I'm a beast in that game, I'd help you to be an elite player.

But now talking about a shooting gaming. Let me know which game you guys want to play, one where we can use swl tags. Wyobear already mentioned his game. We all know many sw players will be inactive. We don't know if some of us will even play swbf3, maybe many of us will  be busy by that time, so let's move to another game while we can.

I like this idea. Counterstrike is a good shooter and as Uffe said it has good competition.

ive never played CS:GO but i wouldnt be opposed to getting is since ive heard of numerous people liking it.

Hey? What sort of talk is this? We have 2 months to find a solution to this and here you guys are giving up, looking to alternative games? Have some hope people, we're looking into this and we're already close to a solution.

Also, PS2 will remain intact and anymore talk of moving over to PC will be condemned because this clan is on both platforms and i will not have one favored over the other. Please respect both sectors equally.
