Changing our name

I have been thinking about it for a while and I do not like the tag, it's an ugly tag. So I ask you all, would you be ok with changing the name? If so, we could expand to other games since we would not be Star Wars based. Do you have any ideas as to what we could change it to? If you're not ok with a name change post it here.

Sounds cool and all but no I don't want the word Squad in the name.

does it have to be an acronym?
it could just be something like ~Pulse~ or -|Nerve|-

Despite jokes, bring some good ideas   It'd be cool to have a strong clan with a good name, I'd also change the tags for Hellfire.


Oh and I need active players to be admins, good and fair players, if you guys will be loyal to clan and server, I'll be needing you to monitor server at times, since the last days many trolls have been joining breaking rules, it's hard for me to be there to check on server. My most active admin is Rex, but he brings too much drama. I just don't want abusive admins. Anyways back to the main talk, bring up a cool name for the clan   

Here some names: DS = Demolition Stars / Dark Stars / Dark Soldiers. Tags could also be DAS though DS sounds better to me. Anyways just some ideas, bring yours

{CZE}, ~H3X~, RAGE, {EVIL}, =A=, .L. (Limitless), and my favorite, {PANDEMIC} Gaming or {P} (SUMMUS in Latin...). Post which ones you'd be ok with.

I like this style of name better than an acronym, like i said earlier ^^^
{EVIL} is more than a little cliche, and i will leave if that is our name lol
Also, Nephalem i play on Hellfire a lot and i can be an admin (ive noticed some of the trolls too and i want them gone)

sorry for the late response, but i just got my new keyboard and can now fully reply. I suggest we keep our Clan Tag and name since we've had it for so long. it's honestly not a bad clan tag and its name is pretty honest to its players too. it's very important for this clan to be consistent and loyal to itself and its benefactors. So i say No change to the clan name or tag.

star, I agree with you that its a pretty good clan tag, but I believe one reason we are changing it is to be able to expand to different games while remaining in the clan. As to what other games most of us play in common, idk   
but this way we have the option.

If we are going to expand the clan to other games, then name must be changed, we wouldn't play battlefield/call of duty using swl tags, I mean, it would sound out of the line. But if we are staying here, then swl tags are ok. But remember swl is something we didn't start. As far I know, it was swl the ps2 player who started using those tags, it'd be better if we come with something by our own  

Also, it'd be good if the tags aren't long, so our names could be read while playing.

The Tag can have multiple names on different games. SWL can stand for something else on Call of duty or other games. does that make it harder for us to pick a name, yeah. but is it consistent with the universal tag, yes.

SWL may not have been started by us, but we did bring it further than the original leaders did and also we've earned the right to maintain this Clans status as independent.

In my opinion, we have a great tag and its name can be changed for other games. Nothing should change except for its acronym on other games and nothing more. As far as i'm concerned, this topic should wait till we deal with our other endeavors.

Well said Starseeker. Does anyone REALLY want a tag change? Otherwise we will just keep SWL as our tag.

I'm ok with the tags, but you are the one that mentioned me about changing them Oscar, but I think it'd be better to have a new name since we both know sw ps2 will bloody die soon, being a pc clan would be better to have different tags, cuz swl (ps2 player) was the one who made this clan not you lol. But wtv, just tell me if you are really going to keep swl tags so I can link this site in the admin messages.

Regardless of SWL's origin or who started it, the only thing that matters is what we are and where we are going with this amazing unity of battlefront players. PS2 Will not die, it never has, never will. It's a flame that only dims but then re-kindles at times. It'll be just fine
